We’ll be having a bird walk open to the public this Sunday December 14th at the Wilson Botanical Gardens. We’ll meet at 7 AM at the Reception. There will be binoculars available.

Please join us for a special Bird Walk this Sunday to welcome Doug Wilson’s family to San Vito! Doug has been a huge supporter of the Bird Club and the community for decades and we want to show his family visiting from California the best side of San Vito. They can’t come often and they won’t be here for long. So please join us this Sunday at the Wilson Botanical Gardens. We’ll meet at the reception at 7 AM. Be there!

Please join us for the Open House at the Wilson Botanical Gardens on Sunday, June 8th. The Bird Club has always supported this event. It is a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather (Hopefully!), meet new people, see what’s happening and support the Botanical Gardens which has always supported us.

Each year we have a bake sale and donate the proceeds to the Gardens. If you want to help out by baking something, please fill out this FORM so we know what to expect. I hope to see everyone who is still in San Vito there!

The event on Sunday to celebrate the life of Pablo Ortiz was very inspiring for me. Many stories were shared about how one man through hard work, kindness, and a clear vision of what needed to be done helped and inspired so many people. I just wanted to share the following blog post written by Gail Hull back in 2015 about Pablo’s life and work with the Nöbe.

La conmemoración de la vida del Dr. Ortiz el domingo fue muy inspirador para mí. Muchas de las historias contaron como un hombre valiente, amable, con una visión clara de lo que debe de hacer y, sí, jupón puede afectar la vidas de tantas personas y cambiarlas la vida a algunas.
