Our first annual meeting in over two years is next Sunday. It’ll be our first chance to get together and share what has been happening over this very strange period we’ve all been going through and, hopefully, take one more step towards normality by sharing our mutual love of birds and for the most beautiful cantón de Coto Brus.

We will meet at the reception in the Wilson Botanical Gardens for an optional bird walk at 7 AM, and the meeting proper will will start at 8 AM next to the reception. Those who have items for the silent auction can set them up around the meeting room starting at 7:30 AM. Membership dues for 2022 can be paid at the door and are as follows. Family memberships include 2 adults and their minor children:

• $20 or 13.000 colones for an individual, non-resident.
• $25 or 16.000 colones for an individual who lives in Costa Rica
• $40 or 26.000 colones for a non-resident Family
• $50 or 32.000 colones for a Family that lives in Costa Rica

There will be coffee, fruit and blueberry muffins available during the meeting, and a delicious brunch afterwards, all for $15. Please fill out THIS form to let us know you’re coming. Please note that due to the ongoing COVID epidemic, masks will be required in all indoor areas and a distance of 1.8 meters between individuals/burbujas so we can all stay safe.

La primera asamblea anual del Club de Aves de San Vito en más de 2 años será el próximo domingo. Durante estos años tan raros y abrumadores no hemos tenido la oportunidad para juntarnos todos par compartir nuestro amor mutuo para las aves y el cantón más bonito de Coto Brus, pero hoy en 8 podemos hacer un paso más en adelante hasta la normalidad.

Reuniremos a la recepción al jardín botánico Wilson a las 7 para una caminata opcional. La reunión empezará a las 8 a la par de la recepción. Las personas que tienen cosas para la subasta silenciosa podrían meterlas en el salón de reuniones a las 7:30. Las cuotas para la membresía 2022 se pueden pagar a la entrada y son las siguientes. Una familia incluye dos adultos y los menores de edad:

• $20 or 13.000 colones por un individual, non-residente.
• $25 or 16.000 colones por un individual que vive en Costa Rica
• $40 or 26.000 colones por una familia non-residente.
• $50 or 32.000 colones por una familia que vive en Costa Rica

Habrá café, fruta y pan de arándeno (Blueberry Muffins) disponibles durante la reunión, y un “brunch” muy rico en el comedero después — todo por $15. Por favor llene ESTE formulario para avisarnos sobre su asistencia. Debido al COVID es un requisito llevar la mascarilla bien puesta en todos los espacios interiores y mantener una distancia de 1,8 metros entre personas/burbujas para que todos puedan mantenerse seguros.
